We had a lovely week the 23rd to the 30 of September 2023. Cottages located within easy distance of Alnwick and other places. The beaches up, there are wonderful, especially if you wanna walk your dogs. We would definitely go back to Northumberland

I do not want to give an unsatisfactory review if the cleanliness & sink problem were not of your usual high standard & it has been rectified. We were pleased with the general comfort of the cottage & the equipment . The garden was a delight to sit there on a warm evening.

This is a lovely quiet and comfortable cottage a short drive from several lovely beaches, as well as Alnwick and surrounding areas. The living area is huge, with plenty of space to sit, eat, chill. There is a large smart TV and a cosy wood burner plus games, books and many DVDs. The kitchen is certainly compact, but has everything you need. The douRead moreble bedroom is also a bit tight, but it's beautifully quiet. The cottage garden is charming and comfortable. We are already planning to return. Hide

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was attractive and well equipped and we particularly loved the charming little garden. The cottage enjoyed a good location being within easy reach of so much of the beautiful Northumbrian coast with it's amazing beaches, castles and fishing ports. Wish we were still there!

Very quiet cottage, central to local attractions. We chose the cottage because there was a local pub but unfortunately it doesn't serve food. However, lots of pubs that serve food a short drive away. Alnwick, Bamburgh, Seahouses, Craster, Beadnell are all a short drive away. Beautiful beaches wherever we went. Dogs are welcome almost everywhere. EvRead moreeryone is very friendly and welcoming. The cottage garden is pretty and interesting, lovely to sit and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Hide

A great position for exploring beautiful Northumberland and the stunning coast. Cosy and comfortable, very homely with a huge inglenook. Spacious main rooms. Very pretty sunny little enclosed garden - and safe for the canine guest! Comfortable and attractive soft furnishings. Overall a great stay thank you.

Very cosy and comfortable cottage with everything provided, and secure garden. Pub within walking distance but doesn't serve food. However, only five minute drive to Embleton where there is a shop and two dog-friendly pubs, both serving food. Would definitely return.
