This lovely property is ideal for visiting the famous Great Yorkshire Show. Nearby are the vibrant market towns of Harrogate and Knaresborough, which offer plenty of fantastic pubs, restaurants, cafes and independent shops, as well as a host of great attractions including the Waterside, the historic Knaresborough Castle, Mother Shiptons Cave, the Valley Gardens, the Stray, Harlow Carr RHS Gardens, Harrogate Theatre, the Turkish Baths and the Royal Pump Room Museum. Starbeck railway station is 0.4 miles away.  There are plenty of wonderful walks nearby including the Nidd Gorge and the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or you could visit Harewood House, Ripley Castle or Brimham Rocks. Popular towns and cities including York, Skipton, Ilkley, Thirsk and Ripon are all easily accessible.

This lovely ground-floor property nestles next to the owners property, which was built on the site of an old orchard, so enjoys lovely gardens. From the car parking area there is easy level access to the front door. The entrance hallway leads you through to the spacious and beautifully light open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With SkyTV (freeview only), Dab Bluetooth radio/CD player,  and plenty of comfy seating, the welcoming and airy lounge is an ideal space for relaxing in. The double sofa bed allows for two younger members of a family  to stay. You will also find a charming dining area as well as a handy breakfast bar. Heading over to the kitchen you will find it fully equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer,  dish washer , washing machine and tumble dryer. Exploring this lovely apartment further you will find a large attractive bedroom with a king-size bed and plenty of storage space. Theres also an en-suite shower room complete with a walk-in shower and WC.

Patio doors lead you out into a charming private patio area with outside furniture where you can sit back and dine alfresco. Theres also a shared grassy area which is ideal for picnics. Off-road parking is available for one car, and on-street parking may also be available.

Highly recommend this property! Debbie and Nick have thought of everything you could need and so much more! There is easy access to many tourist attractions along with natural beauty, Would definitely return to this little gem.

Lovely cottage with everything you might need for a stay in Harrogate. The house felt very comfortable, the bed was lovely, parking was easy, the hosts were very welcoming and it all felt very secure. A peaceful, relaxing location with well kept garden. Could imagine we were in the countryside but with all the convenience of being in a town close by. Happy to recommend as a couples' retreat.

The lodge cottage is just beautiful and tranquil. The host Deb and Nick made you so welcome from the start of your holiday. Easy to use local transport buses/train and shops. The lodge cottage had everything you could think of (thanks to the hosts) making you feel relaxed on your holiday. Definitely will be returning in the future.

The lodge exceeded all our expectations. The Lodge was equipped to such a high level there was nothing you need to bring. The layout,style, bedroom,kitchen, lovely walk in shower,gardens and quality of everything was top notch with full instructions on how to use so the eauipment. The location was excellent with parking at the lodge and easy accessRead more to trains,buses,walks and road links to the Dales etc. Finally,Deborah and Nick (and dogs) are lovely hosts who we wished we spent more time with. We would highly recommend this holiday home. Spotlessly clean, very well equipped and the owners were great at suggestions for places to visit and eat. Probably one of the nicest places we've stayed. Would definitely stay again.

Exceptionally clean and well equipped. Home from home! Secure parking outside the Lodge. Great location for visiting all places of interest in the area. Nice 3 mile circular walk from the Lodge into Knaresborough and back. Nice welcome and introduction to the Lodge from Nick on arrival. Would definitely stay here again. Great weeks stay.

This is a very clean, well appointed cottage, quietly set off the main road and with a beautiful garden. The owners are very helpful and have provided everything you might need for a holiday. The location is a few minutes from Harrogate and Knaresborough and well placed for many local attractions.

It exceeded my expectations excellent location, Peaceful and surrounded with lovely gardens and yet ideally situated for trips into Harrogate and Knarsbrough. There has been so much thought gone into making you feel welcome and comfortable.
