This property epitomises the idea of ‘getting away from it all’ and provides guests with a relaxing retreat which is in the heart of the countryside. The holiday cottage can accommodate up to four guests, making it perfect for families, friends or couples. It forms an ideal base for those wishing to explore Scotland, with numerous walks available for all levels of fitness right on the doorstep. Active guests will have plenty of exciting outdoor pursuits to discover including mountain biking, hikes, shooting and even skiing - as Scotland provides plenty of fantastic slopes to conquer.

This one-level cottage has been decorated in a clean modern style with a cosy lounge with wood burner, ideal for the colder months. In this room, you will find a TV, comfortable sofa and chairs (which can double up as single sofa beds). This is the perfect place where you can relax after a long day hiking. The kitchen is compact yet fully functioning with a small dining table. Here you will find everything you need to prepare a tasty meal together. The double bedroom is furnished in a country cottage-style and there is a bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Opposite the cottage, there is a small pond where you can relax and this is a wonderful natural spot where you are likely to spot the local wildlife including many species of birds, the rare red squirrel and even deer.  An electric car charging point is also available for use.

This cottage is cosy and attractively furnished throughout. The over-bath shower has great pressure and works well. Look out for VERY hot water in the taps. The capacious bed is great: a good mattress and quality duvet. The TV is a good one (makes a change in a holiday house) and the wifi works. Hurray! Beautiful cottage, beautiful location, beautiful scenery. We actually miss walking up to the chatter of ducks, geese and chickens. On a morning we had 2 chickens sat on the bench under the kitchen window just looking in at us whilst having our cuppa, hilarious. Stunning location, equipped with everything you,d need, home from home. Cleanliness is of a extremely high standard. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this holiday property. Perfect to sit back relax away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Very comfortable cottage, nice and clean well equipped kitchen nice place to chill out for a few days, Also nice to see ducks ,chickens and baby rabbits running around also had a visit from a lovely peacock admiring himself in the window.

Had a very pleasant stay, and we enjoyed seeing the ducks and chickens every morning and evening. The cottage has all kitchen appliances you could need including a washer dryer for those needing it. The cottage is ideally placed for easy access to the hills, and it was lovely to watch red squirrels, deer, chickens, ducks and geese from the living room. It is part of a working farm so don't expect complete solitude and a few tweaks would have made it perfect (matches for the fire, for example!) but it was a good base for a few days of escapism.Read more Be sure to take basic essentials like milk, as if you arrive after 5pm the nearest shop is a 30 minute drive away. This is a lovely little comfortable cottage in a beautiful location. It was very cosy with great heating, should it be needed, which would be more than a match for cold winter days. The pond and the wildlife which came to it were better entertainment than the best TV programs and a lot more peaceful. We had a lovely stay, would go back and can highRead morely recommend it. Hide

Lovely cottage in a remote location with beautiful views to the duck pond and hills beyond. Good size for 2 with nice large bedroom and very comfortable bed. The cottage is ideal for exploring the area around Glen Shee, Pitlochry, Balmoral, etc but equally nice just to enjoy the peace and quiet at the cottage and watching the local wildlife.

Cottage a good size compared with many 1-bed properties, and in a great location for access to both Perthshire and the Cairngorms. Location on a working farm means noisy cockerels and geese, but more than compensated for by the red squirrel seen running across the yard, and being able to wander around looking at the livestock and wildlife. A great little out of the way cottage for two, with its Deer and Red Squirrel's passing by the door. With good access to all aspects of Scotland, coast to the East with the Arbroath Smokies, South Cairngorns to the North with Glenshee Ski Lift and Balmoral , Tto the West, Pitlochary and Trossachs and major Towns of Perth and Dundee to the South
