The perfect place to relax on the historic harbour where time has stood still. Carlyon Bay has a fabulous coastline with some lovely walks, sheltered coves and traditional fishing villages nearby including Looe, Polperro and Fowey to the east and Mevagissey to the west. Attractions in the area include The Eden Project, The Ship Wreck Centre, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Poldark Mine, St Michaels Mount and National Trust properties including nearby Lanhydrock House.

If you're looking for a wow factor of a romantic break, then this safari style holiday certainly delivers on all levels. Upon arrival, steps lead you to the garden entrance where the owners’ vision to create the most unique couples retreat awaits you. This property comprises of one double bedroom, sumptuous on all levels, with a double bed that’s dressed with crisp linen and stylish throws. The central area with sofa bed houses the lounge/kitchen/diner, enjoy some down time and cosy up in the cooler months beside the wood burner (first basket of logs included) and watch TV, enjoying the cosy ambience. The kitchen is equipped with all you require to whip up a meal, with electric hob and combination microwave oven and fridge with ice compartment. Just off from the central lounge/kitchen/dining area is the contemporary shower room with shower and WC.

Heading outside to the decking, relax after a day’s adventures, enjoy the warmth of the hot tub and a glass of your finest champagne, then retire to the garden and relax around the fire pit whilst the BBQ kicks into life. There is off-road parking for one car.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Tim and Sadie are amazing hosts. We had such warm reception, they made us feel at home and where always ready to help with anything we needed. We had homemade scones and jam waiting for us after a long drive with a 9month baby...just what we needed and they where absolutely delicious. Perfect. It was me & my little girl- she loved the hot tub & I loved just sitting & watching the view. The appliances were limited, but actually they were all we needed. Tim and Sadie are the most wonderful hosts. The Tent was clean and cosy when we arrived later in the evening - they had the fire roaring for us. The scones and jam were such a lovely touch. We stayed here for 3 nights in february as a valentines getaway, it was amazing! A great welcome from Tim and Sadie with cream tea and wine. Beautiful location with wondeful views. Despite the weather not being perfect the log burner kept us warm as did the brilliant hot tub. We will definitely be back!

Perfect in every way! Toasty and warm in the middle of winter, despite storm-force winds thanks to the wood-burner. And the electric hot-tub on the verranda is just such fun - head in the clouds, while the rest is warm. Ideal location with amazing views out to sea. Wish I could have stayed forever.
